Independent Financial Advice
Financial Advice should always be conflict free, but amazingly only 1% of us choose to meet the ASIC requirements and are able call ourselves independent financial advisers.
A list of other independent financial advisers is listed on the Superguide website.
As independent financial advisers:
- we do not receive any money from the investments, super or insurances that we recommend
- the only money we make is from the fees we charge our clients
- we can focus on tax strategies and strategic investment advice without worrying about how we will charge you
- we are free to provide you with advice that puts your interest ahead of ours
- we are not limited to what products we can recommend.
Who we help and how
The people we help the most are:
- professionals, executives, military, and doctors who will be working for another 5-10 years and want help to grow and protect their money
- people who have received an inheritance and need independent financial advice on what they should do with it
- those coming up to or in retirement and wanting guidance on when they can stop work and then navigating the complexities of the retirement system.
At Construct Wealth, we are proud to be part of the rare breed of truly independent financial advisers in Australia.
Phil and Naomi are founding members of the Profession of Independent Financial Advisers (PIFA) and practice the PIFA Gold Standard of Independence™

‘From the beginning, we felt confident that Phil always had our best interest in mind… We wish we had met Phil ten years ago.’

‘We both found Phil knowledgeable, easy to engage with, and highly professional. Based on our experience we highly recommend his service.’
‘We didn’t realise the benefit of getting independent financial advice, but this is one of the smartest things we have ever done. Our only regret is that we didn’t do it sooner.’
